The motorcycle shop and self-sustaining garden is a private shop, garage, garden, roof garden and extension on an existing 3 story house in Brooklyn. The building and garden merge the aesthetic of the surrounding industrial neighborhood with a residential, human touch. It is a place for relaxation, recreation, and the loud revving of engines from vintage motorcycles. Reconfigurable with a series of moving elements, planting and lighting scenarios, it will host events, performances and the occasional intimate BBQ or gathering around the outdoor fire-pit, lounging on motorcycle-sized outdoor furniture, all on casters.
